Chad is a character from the 1983 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe animateds series.
A hotheaded teenager, Chad looked up to He-Man and Teela. Chad wanted to be a soldier and enjoyed playing with guns. He learned from his grandfather, Elden, the dangers and horrors of war. He had a pet named Burbie, from whom he was almost inseparable.
Later, Chad witnessed his older brother Jonno’s decline after Jonno became addicted to the drug-containing flower known as the Black Nightmare.
Behind the Scenes
- In the first draft of the Filmation script, Chad was named Joshua.
- Chad made a background cameo in the 2015 "The Fall Of Eternia #1: Homecoming!" Masters of the Universe mini-comic.
