A raisin is a partly dried grape. Spotted dick is a type of dish that often contains raisins, as did mince pie, and raisin tea biscuit.[1]
History
In 1991, following their first week of lessons at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Rubeus Hagrid served Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley rock cakes that contained raisins.[2]
