Lumbago

"We'll be a bit cramped, but I think we'll all squeeze in. Come and have a look. Well, it's not for long. I borrowed this from Perkins at the office. Doesn't camp much anymore, poor fellow, he's got lumbago."
Arthur Weasley calls Harry Potter inside Perkins's tent in 1994[src]

Lumbago is a backache of the lumbar region or lower back, which can be caused by muscle strain or a slipped disc.[4]

History

By 1994, Perkins suffered from lumbago[1] and, as such, walked with a stoop.[2] By 1997, his condition had gotten worse.[3]
