Gosby was a house-elf that worked at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 21st century.[1]
History
When a run of unexplained bad luck afflicted the students of Hogwarts, a student began to search for the cause. Eventually, they found out that Fischer and Colby Frey had failed an attempt to brew a Felix Felicis potion, and had disposed of it by throwing it into a barrel that, unbeknownst to them, contained Butterbeer for the students and staff.[1]
After the student told the house-elves about the incident, they disposed of the contaminated Butterbeer. Gosby then prepared a new batch of glossy Butterbeer, to make the students believe it was charmed with liquid luck to help them make their own good luck.[1]
