Paw Paws is one of the first series in The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera, a syndicated Sunday-morning cartoon block of the late 1980s.
Summary
In a variation on the Smurfs formula, the series followed the adventures of a clan of bears whose culture resembled that of the American Indians of the Pacific Northwest.
The bears were ruled by the benevolent and heroic Princess Paw Paw, aided by her flying horse and an enchanted totem.
The series' main villain, Dark Paw, was continually plotting to conquer the Paw Paws' village, from which he had been exiled.
