Hashizume Emi (橋詰 英美) is a 2nd year college student and a former member of the Yokohama Shouei badminton club.
Appearance
Emi has yellow eyes and medium length blonde hair.
Personality
Despite being skilled, Emi had problems mentally, unable to give her all and couldn't believe in herself, and therefore asked for encouragement before and advice during matches from Komura as a means of support. She was also afraid of strong players like Nagisa and Nozomi and wasn't able to practice seriously. After seeing Mizuki's positiveness and facing off against Riko, she realized that she'd been holding herself back and had been looking down on other people.
Playing Style
Emi was considered to be on par with Nagisa and Nozomi, being skilled physically and technique wise, but was lacking mentally, being too dependent on advice from her coach and becoming cowardly and panicking against strong opponents. She was also bad at correcting her mistakes, allowing Izumi to take advantage of her weakness of being bad at receiving shots at the net.
