The Trials is the twenty-sixth track included in the Halo 5: Guardians Original Soundtrack. This piece of music invokes the Halo Theme.
Usage
It is heard during the opening cutscene of the mission Blue Team, when Blue Team forcefully boards UNSC Argent Moon through one of its windows. It is also heard in the same level when the player must use Banshees in order to destroy coolant pipes to overload Argent Moon's reactor.
It is later heard again in the mission The Breaking, when Blue Team fights off against a horde of Prometheans in an area before the final area that contains a skippable boss fight with a Warden Eternal trio.
Trivia
- The Trials can be heard in the classical music radio station Timeless FM in Forza Horizon 3 and 4. It is also set as the default song of the seventh item of the Horizon Australia Bucket List, where the player must drive into a forest in the M12S Warthog CST in 2 minutes to "find the Silent Cartographer".[1]
