Naiya[1] Ray is a Spartan-IV supersoldier and a member of Fireteam Jackknife.[2]
Biography
Prior to her transferring into SPARTAN-IV program, Ray served for four years as a signals intelligence (SIGINT) specialist.[3]
Escalation
Naiya, as part of the escort for the diplomatic meeting between Lydus and Thel 'Vadam on Ealen IV, was searching the plasma refinement facility together with Captain Lasky when they were attacked by a Sangheili of Jul 'Mdama's Covenant. Together with the help of Lasky she defeated the Sangheili after which they found out that the network was being jammed by a high-powered source somewhere on the planet. When approaching the location, they both entered individual Banshees and started flying towards the source. Ray and Lasky attacked the Covenant base where the jamming was emitting from. Ray threw a plasma battery into the base's reactor, destroying the base. Lasky then contacted the Infinity, informing it of the Covenant attack.
Escala III
Shortly after the Ealen IV mission Ray accompanied Lasky to find the journalist Petra Janecek who had clues to help force the mole out of hiding.
