India-127 was a D79-TC Pelican dropship that was in UNSC service during the year 2558.
Operational History
Battle of Genesis
It is assumed that India-127 reached Genesis when it was pulled into slipspace along with many other miscellaneous craft. These aircraft had been near a Guardian when it made the jump into slipspace from its original destination.[1] The crew consisted of UNSC Marines that had been killed by Forerunner soldiers soon after landing on the surface of Genesis.[2]
Post-Reclamation
Once Fireteam Osiris rescued Blue Team from Cortana, both teams fought their way towards the aircraft as a means of escape from Genesis. Kelly-087 would pilot the dropship through a portal provided by 031 Exuberant Witness that would lead them to the planet of Sanghelios.[3]
The next morning on Sanghelios, Blue Team, Fireteam Osiris, Commander Palmer and Dr. Halsey would all board India-127 and fly towards the Sanghelios' moon of Suban to meet up with the UNSC Infinity.[4]
