The Hestia system was a star system that was orbited by at least other five planets, including Hestia V, and it's moon Meridian. The Hestia system is a human outer colony system, governed by UEG.[1]
History
During the Human-Covenant war, the system was attacked by the Covenant in 2548. For the following three years, Meridian was glassed during the Battle of Meridian.[1]
Trivia
The planetary system is named after Hestia, the Greek Goddess of the hearth, family, and domestic life. Her Roman equivalent is Vesta.
