Draetheus V is a human research colony in the Draetheus system. It has one terrestrial satellite, X50, which was later discovered to be a Forerunner planet builder.

Draetheus V was home to many human research facilities and magnetic reactor stations.[2] In the post-war years, Covenant remnants attacked the planet because they were interested in the planet's largest magnetic reactor field. UNSC Infinity was deployed along with Spartan-IVs Palmer and Davis.
