Daybreak, also known as War Games Map_Set/: 902-5,[1] is a multiplayer map in Halo 4. It was made available when it was released with the rest of the Castle map pack on April 8, 2013.[2]
Description
A KEY UNSC STAGING GROUND FOR HIGHLY CLASSIFIED MILITARY EXERCISES…
Operation: DAYBREAK is a cluster of research facilities residing in the scenic highlands on the planet Oban. The map itself is comprised of two such UNSC facilities opposing each other in this large, asymmetrical map. Strategy here is key; teams must split focus between attacking the enemy base while playing close defense to their own.
Trivia
- The map was named after the Office of Naval Intelligence operation on Oban, Operation: DAYBREAK.
- The Prime emblem, which is included with the Halo 4 Limited Edition, is seen in the red and blue bases on Daybreak.
- A UNSC Strident-class heavy frigate can be seen in the background hovering above the region.
