Ballast

Ballast was a UEG-controlled colony, possibly in the Inner colonies.^{[citation needed]}

History

Main article: Battle of Ballast

Either in 2551 or early 2552, the Covenant Empire attacked the colony.^[1] It is rumored to be a battle in which the UNSC defeated the Covenant.^[2] The colony apparently was active to some degree during the Battle of Earth, as it was an active destination from the Quito Space Tether.^[3]
