Ono is a slim woman with short black hair. She is often shown wearing a light purple blouse with a gray suit-jacket or a light blue blouse and a dark blue skirt. She has narrow eyes with black irises and long eyelashes and often wears light pink lipstick or lip gloss.
Personality
Ono is a professional and dedicated teacher, but she also cares about her students individually, which was shown when she encouraged Shōyō Hinata and Tobio Kageyama after they did their make-up exams and when she joined in cheering after the Karasuno team won a match. She is a dignified figure who commands respect from her students and is well known amongst them not to overlook certain things.
Plot
Ono is not very involved in the plot, but she is often seen teaching Hinata's classes, being in charge of tests, and working in the staff room. She supervised Hinata and Kageyama while they took their make-up exams and encouraged them to do well afterward, and when the Karasuno boys' team won an important match, she joined the students in opening the windows and cheering to welcome them back. She came to the Karasuno vs. Shiratorizawa match and told the vice principal that their hastily assembled cheering section had not practiced enough.
Ittetsu Takeda: Ono and Takeda are both teachers, so they meet each other in the staff room and interact there. Once, when Takeda fell asleep muttering about the Karasuno boys' volleyball team, Ono passed by and looked at him confusedly. Another of their interactions happened when someone saw the poster Hitoka Yachi had designed for the boys' volleyball team and had called the school, and Ono told Takeda that someone was on the phone for him. They seem to have a respectful and professional relationship.
Shōyō Hinata: Minaho is one of Hinata's teachers and sometimes calls him out for being fidgety in class and needing to go to the bathroom. Hinata has been shown to be scared of her when she passed back their tests, but this fear dissipated after she encouraged him and Kageyama after supervising their make-up exams. He appeared happy when he saw her supporting the boys' volleyball team after they came back from their match.
