Eiji Makado

Eiji Makado (Japanese: 馬門 (まかど) 英治 (えいじ) , Makado Eiji) is a second-year student at Kakugawa High. He is a middle blocker for the Boys' Volleyball Team.

Appearance

He has slick black hair with a bluntly-cut fringe, and fairly thick eyebrows.

Personality

Not much is known about Makado's personality; however, he appears to be someone who, like the rest of his teammates, is proud of having such a formidable ally as Hyakuzawa on their roster.

Plot

Spring High Preliminary Arc

During the beginning of the first set, Makado is able to deflect Tanaka's spike. Shortly after, Makado admits that he finds Hinata a good player for his height but slightly pities him when going up against Hyakuzawa. In another rally, Makado would be blocked by Tsukishima because of Hyakuzawa being rotated in the back row. And, before the end of the first set, Makado performs a quick set with Komaki.
