Overview
Hinata tells Kageyama that he will score broad attacks as many as possible, to which Kageyama agrees. With the intent to score, Hinata jumps and moves back and forth in an incredibly fast pace just to keep the ball in play. Meanwhile, Oikawa turns to serve. Pressured and determined at the same time, Oikawa resolves to defeat the opponents, aiming to move on to an even bigger stage. However, he unexpectedly does a service error instead.
Plot
Thanks to Hinata, Karasuno and Aoba Johsai are at a deuce. During Aoba Johsai's second timeout, Oikawa asks Kunimi if he's ready for their plan.
While receiving praise from Nishinoya, Kageyama remembers when Kunimi received the ball and remembers how he wouldn't put this much effort during their middle school games. He's brought out of his thoughts when Hinata declares that he will do the broad attack as many times as he needs to.
With cheers from the rest of the team, Tanaka serves again. Hanamaki receives it but it's off. Kindaichi tries to get past a triple block and Nishinoya receives it. Hinata rushes to the end of the court and tries to do the broad attack but Watari receives. The ball goes back over the net and Hinata and Kageyama try the broad again only for Watari to once again receive it.
Hinata then surprises everyone when he hurries to help block Kindaichi and gets a one-touch. He then calls out to Kageyama for another broad attack. Iwaizumi rushes forward to block, knowing that Hinata will get the set. Hinata jumps but Kageyama spots that his jumps are weakening as he did not jump as high as he normally does. Because of this, Hinata hits the ball with less power between Iwaizumi's arms and score before Watari can save it. This now brings Karasuno to match point.
Hinata is heavily praised while Oikawa tells his team to keep calm. Iwaizumi is then able to bring the score to a deuce again when he lands a spike. Because of this, Oikawa is next to serve. He is determined not to let Karasuno get control of the game and delivers a powerful serve that goes right for Nishinoya. At the last moment, Nishinoya dodges the ball and it lands out.
Because of this, Karasuno is once more at match point.
