Good Riddance is one of the vocal tracks in Hades. It is performed by Ashley Barrett.
In-game, it is sung by Eurydice as the background track of her dedicated chamber in Asphodel. Its lyrics exemplify Eurydice's carefree attitude towards her time in the afterlife, which she sees not as eternal punishment but instead as a truly free existence unbothered by the perils and worries of mortal life.
This song can also be heard by Orpheus occasionally. Orpheus is sung by Darren Korb. To have Orpheus sing Good Riddance, the player must have purchased the Music Stand from the House Contractor, encountered Eurydice in Asphodel, and progressed through her storyline enough to obtain sheet music from her. Following these steps, the song can be unlocked by purchasing it from the Contractor.
Eventually, when the Musician and Muse prophecy is completed, and Orpheus and Eurydice are reunited, both Orpheus and Eurydice will be singing the song if Zagreus reaches Eurydice's chamber and Orpheus is visiting.
Lyrics
Farewell
To all the earthly remains
No burdens
No further debts to be paid
Atlas
Can rest his weary bones
The weight of the world
All falls away
In time
Goodbye
To all the plans that we made
No contracts
I’m free to do as I may
No hunger
No sleep except to dream
Mild and warm
Safe from all harm
Calm
Good riddance
To all the thieves
To all the fools that stifled me
They’ve come and gone
And passed me by
Good riddance
To all
Farewell
To all the earthly remains
No burdens
No further debts to be paid
Atlas
Can rest his weary bones
The weight of the world
All falls away
In time
