Personality & Character
Lancerow believes in a better future, working to achieve that goal. He cares about the younger generation and is willing to question his superiors on decisions he does not agree with.[1]
Skills & Abilities
Lancerow is a highly skilled pilot, going toe-to-toe with Jamil in his prime. He was skilled enough to overpower Garrod in the Gundam Double X during their first encounter.[2]
History
A commander in the Space Revolutionary Army, he stayed on after the final battle in the 7th Space War to become a trainer, teaching the newest members of their forces.

When Garrod Ran appeared in space piloting the Gundam Double X, Lancerow launched thinking that it might be his old rival Jamil Neate. He damaged the new Gundam and almost succeeded in capturing it till it was rescued by Pala Sys in the G-Falcon.[2] Returning to the space colony Cloud 9, he met with his friend Nicola Fafas and was introduced to Tiffa Adill. The young girl told him that she knew Jamil and that the man was no longer a part of the United Nations Earth military, and was instead fighting to rescue and save Newtypes from the newly formed New United Nations Earth. Discovering that, he started to question the orders of the SRA leader Seidel Rasso, and on a mission to destroy the group opposed to the SRA called Satelicon he met up with Garrod once more and talked with him as they fought to find out more information about Jamil. He is surprised to learn about Jamil's goals and how Garrod flew to space just to rescue Tiffa. When the SRA launches their Colony Laser at the asteroid, he warns Garrod to flee, saving his life.[1]
When questioned about the fate of the Gundam Double X by Seidel, he tells him that Garrod is dead. He later reveals the truth to Nicola after they realise that Seidel will likely have Tiffa killed and watches as Garrod rescues Tiffa.[3]
As the war against the New UNE commences, Lancerow receives communication from his friend Nicola and finds out that it was a last will and testament sent after he was executed for questioning Seidel Rasso.[4] With his faith shaken in the command ability of Rasso and the start of the 8th Space War, he follows Jamil to the Moon and is escorted into D.O.M.E.[5] where the true meaning of what it means to be a Newtype is revealed. He joins with Jamil and the crew of the Freeden II in the final fight of the war, returning to the SRA afterwards to help work towards peace. At the end of the series, he is revealed to have taken control of the SRA and signs a peace agreement with Jamil, who now represents the New UNE.[6]

Notes & Trivia
- Lancerow's life mirrors that of Char Aznable in Mobile Suit Gundam and that of Amuro Ray in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. He starts out as a Newtype pilot for the Space Revolutionary Army during the 7th Space War, holding a position similar to Char Aznable. Following the 7th Space War, Lancerow remains in military service and is re-assigned to training duty similar to Amuro Ray in the Zeta Gundam series.
- In addition to this is the even more obvious physical resemblance he shares with Treize Khushrenada. The major differences are length and color of hair and Lancerow's lack of forked eyebrows. The appearance of their faces and even fundamental hairstyles is otherwise nearly identical, save that Lancerow has an extra lock of hair dangling above his right eye.
