At Luna II, Gadem's Papua-class supply ship had docked with Char Aznable's Falmer and proceeded to refuel it. Gadem sent away two Komusais to deliver Zakus to Char. Char stated that he asked for one platoon but was only being delivered three initial production models. Gadem told Char to take any complaints up to Vice Admiral Dozle for the bigwigs were also doing what they could to make ends meet. Meanwhile, the White Base had deployed Job John and Kai Shiden in Guncannons with Hayato Kobayashi and Ryu Jose in a Guntank. In a panic, Kai delivered the first shot. Gadem's ship then caught fire and the Falmer was encircled by enemy mobile suits from all sides. With his ship done for, Gadem had gotten into an MS-05 Zaku I to deliver the Zaku II units to the Falmer, pushing each one up. Kai continued firing from his Guncannon, but Gadem's Zaku I appeared out of the flames, much to Kai's surprise. Gadem sought to avenge his ship, even in a second-hand mobile suit. The Zaku I punched the Guncannon, and Gadem then attempted to grab it. Fortunately, Ryu and Hayato's Guntank had appeared behind the Guncannon, putting the Zaku I off-balance with its long barrels. Hayato took aim at the Zaku I and destroyed it, killing Gadem [1].
