Tikki is an overarching protagonist in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. She is a Kwami, who represents the concept of creation, and is connected to the Ladybug Miraculous, a pair of earrings that allows anyone who wears it to transform into a ladybug-themed superhero, Her current holder is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a clumsy teenager who aspires to be a fashion designer.

She is voiced by Marie Nonenmacher in the original French and Mela Lee in English.

What Makes Her A Guile Hero?

  • She is a very wise person and often acts as the voice of reason for the often impulsive Marinette. She always offers her good advice and guides her to doing the most moral thing in a situatuion, such as in Animaestro, when Marinette teamed up with Chloe to humiliate Kagami in front of Adrien, Tikki was very much (and rightfully so) against the idea. She also is there to cheer up and support Marinette whenever she is feeling down.
  • She keeps it a secret from Marinette that Cat Noir is her crush Adrien in order to protect both of them from Hawk Moth.
  • When she was feeling sick, she told Marinette that she needed to go to a special doctor to get healed. Said doctor turned out to be Master Fu, the (former) Guardian of the Miraculouses and the one to give Marinette the Ladybug Miraculous in the first place.
  • While she does arguably slip up in "Dearest Family" when she summons a massive galette that would destroy the world, this seems to be an accident, and she apologized for it, plus she never acts or does anything like it since. After the episode, she is shown to go back to her usual, rational self.
  • She has teamed up with Marinette countless times to transform her into Ladybug, saving the day from many villains, including ones that have wanted to destroy the world, have brainwashed everyone in Paris, and many other things.
  • In "Sandboy", she played a part in the party that also functioned as a ritual held in the Chinese Miracle Box along with the rest of the Kwamis that was held on Nooroo's (the Kwami belonging to Hawk Moth) birthday in order to find Nooroo's location.

Trivia

  • She and Ladybug are the two Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir heroes to be considered Guile Heroes.
