Skips is one of the four tritagonists (alongside Pops Maellard, Hi Five Ghost, and Muscle Man) of the 2011 Cartoon Network TV series, Regular Show.

What Makes Him a Guile Hero?

Is shown to be really competent alongside Benson as unlike the rest of the park rangers who has many screw-ups, Skips has shown to be a really successful park ranger as he was able to solve most of the park rangers' problems including Mordecai and Rigby's problems and help them stop multiple villains, not to mention he went on a whole year without a day off.
Exposed Rigby as a cheater by ripping off Rigby's PlayCo Armboy before they arm wrestle.
Used the PlayCo Armboy to defeat Death in a game of arm wrestling, so he can force Death with the promise of reviving Rigby.
Assists in helping the others stopping Garret Bobby Ferguson Jr. from destroying the entire park and taking over it.
Assists in saving Christmas from being destroyed by Quillgin.
Despite initially quitting the park's Bowling due to not wanting Death to expose his secret, he later returned to help them win and keep souls.
Wanted what's best for Benson by helping him controlling his anger making Skips the voice of reason to Benson.
Is the most intelligent character of the series as he is the most successful and competent character of Regular Show while also being very strategic.
