FiveM, also known by its abbreviation 5M, is a Multiplayer modification for Grand Theft Auto V developed by the Cfx.re community.
Description
History
FiveM was initially developed in 2014.
Features
- Programming within 3 languages (Lua, C# and JavaScript).
- Streaming custom assets: FiveM allows servers to stream other modications, such as vehicles, maps and weapons across all server users.
- Standalone: FiveM does not modify GTA V installation files, meaning players can switch between GTA Online and FiveM.
- Syncing: FiveM uses an improved version of Rockstar's network code, meaning users are well-synced within servers.
