Brucie wants Niko to steal the Oracle XS that belonged to Lyle Rivas. When Niko asks if there are any risks, Brucie says, nonchalantly yet with a slightly doubtful tone: "Nah, easy as can be".
Mission Objectives
In order to complete the mission the player must:
Go to Yorktown Ave.
Walk round and get the car.
Drive to Brucie's lockup.
Walkthrough
The player is required to head over to the location indicated to find Lyle'sOracle in a nearby lot. Once the player gets in, some thugs will pull up on every side and start shooting at Niko. One car is behind, one is down the alley on the right side, and another is at the end of the alley in front of Lyle's car.
Niko evades the thugs who then pursue and shoot at him. Niko manages to lose the thugs and deliver Lyle's car to Brucie's lockup.
Aftermath
Niko will call Brucie confirming completion; Brucie will say that he should have fought the people going after the car.
Brucie will text Niko informing him to check his emails for extra work.
Brucie dismounts from the apparatus and approaches Niko.
Brucie:
Why didn't you tell me it was Niko? Why?
She dismissively waves as Brucie walks around.
Brucie:
Man, women. Man. Women.
He rapidly attacks a punching bag.
Brucie:
Yeah! Man, I'm ready for you, Nicky, I'm ready. I'm ready for fucking anything.
He returns to the punching bag, kicking it and punching it a few times before he recoils.
Brucie:
Ah, motherfuckers...
Niko:
Are you alright? You seem a little tense.
Brucie:
Yeah! Sorry. I'm just juicing, makes me a little... pent up.
Niko:
Juicing?
Brucie:
Yeah. Bull shark testosterone, amigo. Ordered online from Chile. Makes you feel really... male.
Niko:
Be careful, man. I heard that stuff does funny things to your balls.
Brucie:
Hey. Do I look like I got funny balls to you?
Niko:
I haven't considered it. You sent me a message. What do you want?
Brucie:
I want help! I'm losing the plot here! Pause. No, I'm shitting you, man. Now look, you did really good with that thing. A lot of people are very grateful. Now listen. That guy, Lyle, had a car worth stealing. Can you get it? He left it in an alleyway off of Yorktown Avenue in Steinway.
Niko:
If you pay like last time, no problem.
Brucie:
Yeah, of course.
Niko:
Any risks?
Brucie:
Nah. Easy as can be.
Brucie returns to exercising. Niko backs away, then leaves.
Niko:
Okay... I'll just go take care of it, then.
Brucie:
Yeah!
Woman:
Bye.
Getting Lyle's Car
Niko drives to Steinway and gets in Lyle's car. As he does, another car pulls up at the other end of the driveway.
Niko:
No risks, Brucie? Maybe this juicing is fucking with your head.
Only thing Brucie thinks is good looking is himself. In the mirror. Thanks.
Mission Complete
Niko calls Brucie.
Niko:
The car is in your lockup. It was not so easy. People were waiting for me.
Brucie:
Shit man. If I'd known it'd be like that then I'd have gone to get it. People don't fuck with Brucie. I mean, you're cool though. You made it man. You got them mad Red Army driving skills. I'll sort you out with some big rims... spinning ones. Crazy original styles. You know, we'll cruise, we'll hang, alright, alright? Thanks, homie, thanks.
Hey, Brucie, I'm sorry about this but Lyle's car got fucked. You ain't getting it.
Brucie:
Fuck, I wanted that real bad. You should have seen that jumped up punk driving around in that shit. At least he ain't gonna be driving no more. Come back and see me, man.
Video Walkthrough
Glitches and Oversights
Sometimes, the end cutscene will glitch, making Niko walk too slow for him to leave the auto shop.
During the opening cutscene, if the player has subtitles turned on, the player can see Brucie is working out, but Brucie doesn't count 34.
Trivia
The title of the mission is taken from Brucie's answer to Niko asking if the job given to him may be risky.
If the player reverses the car into Brucie's garage, it will be facing in the opposite position in the final cutscene of the mission.
The thugs will also spawn if the player rams Lyle's Oracle with another car, they will also say Niko is trying to take the Oracle.
If the car explodes while it is in the cutscene, Niko will survive, although the mechanic will not. The mission will fail, but unlike above, the shop door will still be open, allowing Niko to leave.
If the player parks the car near Brucie's Garage without damaging it too much (and without driving it into the yellow marker), there will be a given chance that the player is able to go into the garage interior.
When Niko leaves with Lyle's car and turns left, there will always be a motorcyclist driving by.
If the Oracle is destroyed, Brucie will comment that Niko "should have seen that jumped up punk driving around" in the car and that "at least he won't be driving it no more".
