Eggerdroid (エッガードロイド Eggādoroido ) is the first boss in Thunder Cross II.
Description
In its first phase, Eggerdroid is a gray ship with a "tail" which extends outwards. It changes appearance in its second phase, as the top of the ship opens up to reveal its cycloptic head, and the once top parts of the ship become shoulders for its long mechanical arms to sprout out of.
Attack patterns
In its first phase, Eggerdroid will slowly follow the player while extending its tail towards it, doing this while releasing various smaller versions of itself that also follow the player. When its tail is destroyed, Eggerdroid will transform into its second phase, and will now attempt to hit the player by swaying its long arms while still releasing smaller versions of itself.
