Blinkink is a London based animation studio specialising in animation and mixed-media filmmaking as well as short-form video content with partners in advertising, music, gaming, fashion and broadcast industries.
Biography
Blinkink was founded in 2005 as a division of BlinkW, a British production company and creative studio producing commercials, music videos, short films, branded content, and long form entertainment. Today, Blinkink is a collective of directors, producers, artists and technicians who create short-form content with their partners in the advertising, music and entertainment industries. The studio gained their notoriety for their work on the viral video series Don't Hug Me I'm Scared.
Role in Gorillaz
In 2017, Blinkink produced and animated the visualiser for the single Garage Palace by Gorillaz featuring Little Simz. The video was directed by Noah Harris ans the animation by Nicos Livesey.
In 2018, Blinkink produced and animated the music videos for Humility, its Humility (Superorganism Remix) and Tranz. In the same year Blinkink collaborated with Brutus Collective and Feed Me Light to create a series of Gorillaz x G-Shock ads, named Mission M101.
