Hitoe (ヒトエ Hitoe?) is a character in the Ganbare Goemon series. She is Yae's older sister, a feared ninja pirate who sails the Edo seas in search of treasure. She appeared in the Nintendo DS game Ganbare Goemon: Tōkai Dōchū Ōedo Tengu ri Kaeshi no Maki.
Background
Hitoe is Yae's older sister. When Hitoe turned six, her eye got wrapped in a cast and after a year she started wearing her now characteristic eyepatch. Both sisters are well trained in diverse forms of martial arts, such as karate, judo, taekwondo, kung fu, and jujitsu. Hitoe is a master of "ninja pirate combat".
Her pirate ship's name is called the "S.S. Hitoe". The day they met Hitoe, Goemon and his friends became part of her crew, and with their help she was able to defeat Admiral Peruri and his minions.
Appearance and personality
Hitoe is a female ninja pirate who wears an eyepatch on her right eye. She speaks with the stereotypical dialect of buccaneers, frequently saying words like "arrgh!" and "matey", and is fond of singing pirate songs, especially at night. Her main weapons are the sword and pistol.
She sails her ship along the Edo bay in search of islands to plunder and carries all paraphernalia associated with pirates in her ship, such as spyglasses, pirate hats, jolly rogers, different kinds of hooks, eyepatches, and swords; not to mention her hobby of building miniature ships inside of bottles.
