Personality

Roman wanted his son to be a Knight-Captain like him; in the Gaster Origins Animatic, he initially seems to have accepted Wing Din's choice to be a Scientist and stand-in Wizard, but during a "sparring match" he shows little hesitance and brutally beats him, stating that Wing Din's weakness will end up getting everyone around him killed. After Gaster gets angry and uses Polychromatism, Roman gets excited and outright says "Hate me! Kill me!" Gaster's refusal to do so disappoints him.
