Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton is featured in The Hurt Locker, Part One, the fourth episode of Season Six. It is sung by Rachel and Sam.
After having mini piano lessons from Blaine, Rachel is still persistent to learn properly and Sam agrees to assist her (whilst under Sue's instructions/hypnotism) They then begin to play the opening chords to Thousand Miles in The Choir Room and just as if it was mirroring the original video, Sam and Rachel sing and play the song throughout various locations as they 'ride' the piano down a road. At the end of the song, they share a kiss.
