Season 1
Episode 15, "General Confusion", finds the Joes in South America, investigating Cobra's interest in a grove of volatile "demon trees" and their equally explosive sap. Along for the exercise is Dr. Deborah Carday, in fact a disguised Zarana, posing as a US Senate oversight inspector. Dr. Carday picks the mission apart, with a running tally of each wasteful action, only pausing to flirt with a receptive Big Ben.
Following the successful, if destructive mission, Dr. Carday's report to the Senate forces the Joes into an educational war game scenario with severely limited firepower. Big Ben's helicopter is shot down during the games, and he is taken prisoner along with the rest of his team. Zarana reveals herself and continues her flirtation, even offering to continue the relationship if Big Ben will renounce the Joes. He refuses, and the arrival of Dusty's coyote Sandstorm- and with a flask of explosive sap he saved from their earlier mission- he frees himself and returns with Captain Krimov and The General Mobile Command. With Cobra Central in ruins they return home victorious, their funding fully restored.

In the episode 24 "Stuck on You" Pathfinder and Cobra Commander attempt to escape a Jungle safely when both crash during a battle. Its up to Duke, Big Ben and Lady Jaye to come his rescue.
Season 2
Episode 2 "Chunnel" Cobra Commander kidnaps the Queen of England, its up to Big-Ben, Big Bear, Duke, Scarlett and Wet-Suit to save her in time and stop Cobra's evil plans.
