Sasuke (佐助) is a minor character in Pom Poko.
About
Sasuke, unlike most of the raccoons, wears glasses. He is married after a year passed in the Five-year plan. Sasuke along with Shokichi helped Master Kincho and Tamasaburo with getting revenge on the Wonderland President, and with Shokichi and Tamasaburo, failing to stop Gonta from fighting the riot police.
Etymology
- The name Sasuke means "help, aid" (佐) (sa) and "help, rescue, assist/assistant/assistance" (助) (suke).
