Clock Tower

The Clock Tower is a location in the film Spirited Away. It is described as a gateway between this world and the Spirit Realm.[1]

Background

The Clock Tower is a structure accessible through the Red Gate. It acts as a gateway Chihiro and her family travel through to enter the other world. The interior of the tower resembles a church space or waiting room of a train station. In the evening, the tower transforms into a lighthouse for the harbor.

Like the Red Gate, the building is done in the Kawagoe style.
