The Rogue Technology Aeronautics and Space Administration (RTASA) is a secretive group within the Polity focusing on the research and development of new technologies.
Overview
RTASA emphasizes aeronautics and aerospace research, but has been shown to develop certain technologies that are military applications. They participated in the creation of the gen:LOCK program alongside the Experimental Science Unit. Marc Holcroft is the RTASA's principal investor, and Fatima Jha is its lead scientist.

- Elements of the RTASA were inspired by NASA.
- The RTASA logo uses the same "worm" typeface as NASA used between 1975 and 1992.
- The name draws heavily from NASA's unabridged designation, National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
- It also serves as an in-joke to Rooster Teeth: the typeface is employed in the logo for the RTX convention.
- Apart from being a NASA 'Expy'. The agency also appears to fill much the same role for the Polity as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency does for the present-day United States of America, if on somewhat of a smaller scale.
