Makai Monks are agents of the Makai Order and unique to the Ryūga-verse.
Overview
Makai monks are the least defined group of people within the Makai Order and was only briefly featured within the Ryūga-verse. The monks are all men, trained in sword combat and are raised similarly like Makai Knights. However, the monks only seem to devote themselves into training and are not meant to be deployed on the field like knights. Suggestively, they are keepers in specific locations within the order. The monks are not required to be celibate as the are allowed to have families. Their true purpose and value within their culture is unclear, making them the most mysterious.
