Pit is the main character of Kid Icarus. He is the most loyal servant of Palutena, the Goddess of Love, and is also captain of her army, and leader of her royal bodyguard. When he was included in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he was given a modern redesign. Pit returns as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
