Caliber is a free-to-play multiplayer online game for PC about modern special forces. It uses the Unity engine.
Special forces from around the world are presented in the game with their unique weaponry and uniforms. Special forces of the former USSR are represented in a video game for the first time in history. The development team pays attention to historical sources, consults special forces veterans and spends time in archives researching the relevant data. Because of this, weapons and equipment of various operatives in Caliber are as close to real ones as possible.
To win, players would have to work as a team and assess the situation quickly and correctly. The wider third-person field of view allows utilizing the potential of the tactical engagements to its fullest. Thanks to this, you can monitor the progress of the engagement, control enemy actions and plan your squad’s movements, playing in either PvP or PvE modes.
Caliber was announced at WG Fest on December 17th, 2016 and entered the alpha testing stage at the end of 2017. At the moment, 1C is working towards releasing a opened beta.
