BlizzCon is the name of a gaming convention hosted by Blizzard Entertainment at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. It first began in 2005 at BlizzCon 2005, with the most recent event being BlizzCon 2019.
BlizzCon has traditionally been used by Blizzard Entertainment to stage their Grand Finals for their various eSports franchises in World of Warcraft, StarCraft, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch.
Blizzard Entertainment also uses BlizzCon for product announcements and gameplay updates, and expansion packs for Diablo III and World of Warcraft have been announced at previous BlizzCon conventions.
