Ruvyzvat (R-oo-v-iz-vat), or Ruv (R-oov) for short, is a character in Friday Night Funkin' Logic. He is a runaway criminal and Sarvente's longtime friend/non-canonical boyfriend. A lot about him is shrouded in mystery.
Appearance
Ruv's skin is pale white with grey strips, almost metallic. He wears a grey ushanka with black stripes on the ear flaps, a black ribbon worn as an eyepatch, a grey snow jacket and black pants and snow boots.
Biography
Ruvyzvat, or Ruv, is a Russian, high-ranking criminal who is the longtime friend and non-canonical love interest of Sarvente. He is also the non-canonical father of Selever and Rasazy.
His original creator, Dokki.doodlez, has proved lore for the Mid-Fight Masses characters, including Ruv. Ruv was born in a slum with no friends or family. At a young age, he wanted to bring a sense of justice to the world. He soon found out that people with higher ranks in society committed bigger crimes but were able to get away with them because of power. He started killing people who were corrupt in order to bring justice, but it made him look like a villain as he had no humanity whatsoever.
Eventually, injustice took a hold of Ruv and he stopped caring about who he killed. He ends up being on the run for years. At one point, he meets Sarvente, who he becomes friends with. Sarvente promises him that she will meet him again one day, and gives him one of her ribbons. Because he was on the run all the time, he eventually forgot about Sarvente and decides to wear the ribbon she gave to him as an eyepatch.
As an adult, he manages to stumble upon Sarv's Church, where he met Sarvente again. Because neither of them remember their first meeting as children, their interactions between each other started out aggressive. However, both would soften up since Sarvente showed no signs of betrayal against him. Ruv would eventually vow to her to protect her for eternity.
Ruv first appears in Friday Night Funkin' Logic: Mid-Fight Masses after Player beats Sarvente for the first time and they sing "Zavodilla", but Player wins. He is also the one who suggests calling Selever after Player beats Sarvente for the second time.
Ruv is murdered by Taki in TAKI: SARVENTE'S EVIL TWIN Friday Night Funkin' Logic by a chainsaw through the torso and seemingly cut into pieces. At the end of BOYFRIEND vs. SELEVER! Friday Night Funkin' Logic he is shown to be a ghost, proving that he’s deceased and that the vow was supposedly broken.
Personality
Ruv tends to be introverted and not interact with other people. The only person he likes to interact with is Sarvente. Ruv will never leave Sarvente's side and will always be close towards her, and they canonically cannot be separated.
Despite being shy around strangers, he seems to have a near-emotionless mindset, sociopathic tendencies, and extreme hostility against people he does not like or any stranger in general. If he wants to kill or hurt someone, he will not hesitate to do so.
Abilities
- SUPERNATURAL VOICE - In the mod, the screen shakes every time Ruv hits a note to show how powerful his voice is.
- HIGH REFLEXES - Ruv has amazing reflexes as he isn't comfortable with anyone but Sarvente touching him.
- IMMORTALITY - The vow Ruv struck with Lucifer stopped him from aging completely. This means that if the deal is never broken Sarvente and Ruv can be together forever. But however, as said by Sarvente, when Taki struck Ruv, she hit his presence, meaning that the vow was possibly removed, not to mention Ruv was also described as a runaway criminal as he wasn’t always with Sarvente. This is, however, ignored in Friday Night Funkin' Logic, as he has died to Taki.
In GameToons Gaming/Among Us Adventures
Ruv appears in a GameToons Gaming video with two forms exclusive to said video. He has a meter with seven snowflakes to mark when he gets a new ability, which is filled when he damages Crewmates. The meter is shown on every player's screen, including Ruv's, with an icon representing him in the far left side of it.
As Ruv's meter fills up, his form changes. The form he changes into are as follows:
- When the meter is empty, he appears fun-sized.
- When the meter reaches the second snowflake (28.57% full), he will change into his normal, full-sized form.
- When the meter reaches the fifth snowflake (71.43% full), his outfit changes into a more ice-covered one.
- When the meter reaches the seventh snowflake (100% full), he turns into an ice demon.
Crewmates have the ability "Strike" and can hit Ruv, which does nothing. When the Crewmates' task meter is full while Ruv is the Imposter, they will gain the ability "Flamethrower". Using this ability will kill Ruv and the game ends with a Crewmate victory. Ruv has 11 abilities total.
