Chokers (チョーカーズ Chōkāzu) are the main form of communication on the Ground, they were created by a Giver who possesses a piece of the Watchman Series.
Overview
Chokers are the main form of communication between known organizations in the Ground. Most civilians are seen wearing one, and while phones exist on the ground , chokers seem to be a more private form of communication. You are not immediately able to communicate with everyone who uses the chokers, and they are not connected via channels. Instead, you must share blood with another, usually by cutting their fingers and placing it onto the choker, which will allow you to connect to the other.[1]
The creator of the choker likely owns a part of the Watchman Series.[2] Kuro also states that the choker maker listens to everyone's conversations, and are a master of hiding their identity and whereabouts.
Appearance
Chokers are round, bracelet like black communicators with white rectangles in the centre of them. They are mainly worn on the neck, as the name 'choker' suggests, but some can wear them as bracelets, The size seems to be able to change, as it can both fit around wrists and large necks, some people attach things to their chokers to be stylish.
