High Court

The High Court was the judicial branch of the government of the State of Jefferson, as set out in the Constitution of 1793. The High Court consisted of seven members, who were nominated by the governors of Jefferson, and ratified by a two-thirds vote of the Senate. The High Court served as a model for the Mexico Tribunal in the Mexico City Constitution

Sobel makes no mention of the High Court after its establishment by the Constitution of 1793, does not mention any of the judges who served on it, and does not have an entry on it in his index.
