Jouzen (上善, Jōzen) is a major city in the Southwest region of Konan near the Sairou border. It is Chiriko's birthplace and a major location in Yuuai Den.
Background
Jouzen is known as a "city of scholars." Its quiet atmosphere is ideal for scholarly pursuits and attracts intellectuals who wish to study under the city's great sages. Young men from all social classes travel to Jouzen to prepare for the Imperial Examinations in order to become local, provincial, or government officials.
