Onnamusha, also referred to as The Stranger, is one of the protagonists and player characters of Furi. She was released on May 17, 2022 as part of the "Furi - Onnamusha" DLC for $6.99. Onnamusha functions as an alternate choice of protagonist alongside Rider, featuring a distinct moveset while keeping all plot details and dialog identical.
Appearance
Onnamusha is strikingly similar to Rider in appearance, being tall and fit with flowing white hair tied back into a ponytail. She has bright blue eyes, and a skintight black bodysuit with dynamic color changing definition, layered by a high collared red jacket and baggy, grey, knee length pants. The red jacket is connected at the collar, with the sleeves trailing behind her similar to a cape. Additionally, depending on what stance she's currently using, the jacket will alternate between red and blue.
Onnamusha also has a unique yellow visual trail that lingers on screen during her movements to signify when her Star stance is charged.

Stances
The Onnamusha Rider has access to three stances which modifies her speed and damage.
- Switch Stance: Press the [Stance Switch] button to switch between the Spark and Storm stances.
- Spark: "Extremely fast stance, with double dash. Heals on parry but inflicts weak damage. Star gauge fills quickly on dodging, parrying and hitting."
- Storm: "Extremely powerful stance but very slow and with a vulnerable jump roll. Star gauge fills slowly."
- Star: "Extremely powerful and fast attack. Time limited."
- Activated by pressing the [Trigger Star] button when the Star Gauge is full.
- Lasts for a limited amount of time.
