Unstable 1.7.x is a Feed The Beast and CurseForge modpack. It is the first modpack released on the FTB Launcher for Minecraft version 1.7. Though it has the maintainer and creator listed as The FTB Team on the launcher, it was not created by the FTB Modpack Team. It was created by other members of the FTB Team.

As the name suggests, Unstable is highly experimental: it primarily serves as an assembled showcase of 1.7 mods as they become available.

New mods are added frequently to this pack: users should expect having to reset worlds regularly. No tech support is offered for this pack. The changelog can be found on Confluence.

It should be emphasized that players use this pack at their own risk. Unstable should not be used for general world-progress, as it is (obviously) not stable. Instead, it provides a basic platform allowing mod authors to test the conversion of their mods from version 1.6 to 1.7.

As it is only experimental, Unstable may lack some popular and useful mods that might be otherwise expected in a 1.6 pack.

Players using Unstable should expect to encounter crashes, bugs and world resets frequently. Although official support is not offered for Unstable, individual mod authors are typically interested in seeing reports of crashes, bugs or problems you may encounter, as many of these mods are recently being updated to 1.7 and added to the modpack.

Versions 1.0.4 and below are for Minecraft 1.7.2, but versions released after those are for Minecraft 1.7.10. Worlds may or may not be compatible.
