Patchouli is a library mod created by Vazkii. It allows the creation of detailled in game guide books from json files. Those can either be added by modpacks makers or by mods directly.
Books added by Patchouli may have chapters gated behind advancements, meaning that some chapters may not be visible at all to players until they complete a certain task.
