The Compact Chest is a storage block added by CompactStorage. It has the same size as a normal Chest when crafted, but can be upgraded using the Storage Column Upgrade and the Storage Row Upgrade. The biggest chest has 12 rows and 24 column of slots.
Previously, in versions prior to 3.0, the Compact Chest is created using the Builder.
Recipe
Any Chest can be re-dyed by right clicking a dye on it.
