Ruins are now known as Landmarks. Using a Swimming Drifter, if in close range, or a Salvage Boat, you can Scavenge for resources or rescue a Drifter or a Seagull.
As of 29th June 2020 Research Points have been changed to Books, which can be directly gathered in small amounts from some Landmarks or large amounts from an Intact Book Shop Landmark.
