The Blue is the fifth mini album by APRIL. It was released on March 12, 2018 with "The Blue Bird" serving as the album's title track.

Background

DSP announced on February 26, 2018 that APRIL would make a comeback on April 12 with their fifth mini album titled The Blue.[1] On Feb 27-28 the tracklist along with the schedule for "The Blue Bird" was released. On March 1, individual teasers of the members were revealed along with promotional images released for the title track a day later. On March 6, sneak peeks of "The Blue Bird" were released along with Highlight Medleys and spoilers.[2]

On March 12, 6PM KST the album including the M/V for "The Blue Bird" was released. It expresseds fellings about wanting to become someone's happiness.[3]
