Banishra (バニシュラ, Banishura?) is a recurring spell in the Final Fantasy series. The spell is an upgraded version of the light-elemental variation of the Banish spell.

Banishra is a moderate level Black Magic spell. The spell deals moderate Light-elemental damage to a single foe. The spell can be purchased in Spelvia for 1,500 gil and can be given to any character by having a Banishra Tome in the character's inventory. Banishra has a Spell power of 12 and it costs 3 AP to cast.
A variation called Strong Banishra can be used when two Psyched Up characters cast Banishra during the same turn.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II
Banishra I-III are abilities that deal light-elemental damage to all enemies. The Banishra spells can be learned from any version of the Maduin summon.
