Trivia

A man very similar to Mikhail can be found sitting in the locked prison cell behind and to the right of the stage that Hoyt gives his introduction speech to the new recruits in the mission Doppleganger. However, this may not be Mikhail, as the Co-Op mission Payback shows that, along with the others, he left the Rook Islands.
The body of Mikhail depicts St. Basil's Cathedral. If we consider the "thieves' concepts", he was imprisoned for 6 years.
Exactly what he does onboard is not made explicitly clear.
Mikhail's tattoos include:
1. A quote from the poem "Requiem" by Anna Akhmatova, but in it the word "была" (Anna Akhmatova wrote about herself) is replaced with "был" (Mikhail means himself):
  "Нет, и не под чуждым небосводом,
  И не под защитой чуждых крыл, —
  Я был[а] тогда с моим народом,
  Там, где мой народ, к несчастью, был"
  means:
  "No, and not under an alien sky,
  And not under the protection of alien wings, -

2. "Сокол" means "Falcon"
3. "2007" and "Анастасия" (means "Anastasia") (possibly the year of birth and the name of the daughter)
4. "НЕ ТРОНЬ МЕНЯ ЕСЛИ ХОЧЕШЬ ЖИТЬ" means "DON'T TOUCH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE"
5. "МЫ БОЛЬШАЯ СИЛА ВОЗЬМЕМ ВЛАСТЬ И РАЗГОНИМ РОССДУМУ!" means "WE ARE A GREAT FORCE WILL TAKE POWER AND DISPERSE THE RUSSIAN DUMA!"
6. "МИР" means "PEACE"
7. "1977" (possibly the year of Mikhail's birth)
