- Junction City - nine carried by Reavers.
- Cold Water - three carried by Brotherhood of Steel deserters.
- Glenda Close in Newton has one (the player character can take while escorting her to safety) and other three carried by Reavers.
Notes
Despite being an assault rifle, the Steyr uses the submachine gun animations in the game.
