Red is a material weapon mod in Fallout 4.
Effects
When equipped on a baseball bat and Swatter, the weapon's texture changes to appear as a solid red color looking worn and chipped in several places. It does not grant any additional effects, as with all material mods for those weapons with the exception of the aluminum material mod.

The red modification may spawn on baseball bats found in the game world such as ones wielded by raiders and members of the Triggermen. It may also spawn on both the baseball bat and Swatter weapons that are commonly sold by Moe Cronin at Swatters in the Diamond City market. It can also be crafted at a weapons workbench.
